The standard turnaround time is 3–4 weeks. If you request expedited testing, the turnaround time is a maximum of five business days (subject to change).

Wipe samples:

Shipments should be sent in the straw packages provided and can generally be sent as standard packages (e.g., via DHL). The ice packs must be frozen before shipping. Shipments should not be sent over the weekend and must arrive at our facility by 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the latest.

Air filter samples:

Air filter samples can generally be shipped at room temperature as standard packages. When packing, ensure that the filters are securely sealed to prevent cross-contamination.

Application bags:

Transport time should be kept as short as possible. Internal guidelines regarding transport conditions must be followed.

Wipe Samples:

The samples can be stored frozen (< -18°C) for up to four days before shipment. Air Filter Samples: The specifications for storage conditions and duration vary depending on the substance. This must be coordinated in advance. Application Bags: Storage should be carried out in accordance with the instructions on the bag. [/av_toggle] [av_toggle title='4. However, for express samples, it is helpful to send a message to analysis@pharma-monitor.de.

After placing your order, you will receive the kit via DHL. The kit includes all necessary information, as well as instructions for sample collection and a link (IUTA PM Kit Instructions) to a video demonstrating how to collect a wipe sample.

IUTA can perform wiping sampling, SMEPAC testing, or workplace measurements as needed.

Sampling kits can be ordered through IUTA (preferably by email) or through the Berner Online Shop.

Two years. The expiration date is printed on the sample collection solution. If the solution has expired, it can be reordered separately.

The results will be provided in a digital analysis report in PDF format. The report will be sent to the email address listed on the accompanying form.

The measurement result is below the limit of quantification (specified value). No substance could be quantified.

The reference value of 0.1 ng/cm² is specified in BGW Brochure 09-19-04 2 to distinguish between high and low exposure levels in the workplace. It is based on a large-scale study that assessed exposure conditions at many facilities manufacturing cytostatic drugs. The reference value is not derived from health considerations and does not correspond to a limit value.
