Air filter analysis for
the highest safety standards.
We currently offer analytical testing of over 30 active ingredients. We can also test for excipients such as lactose or acetaminophen. For more information, including details about our accreditation under DIN EN ISO 17025, please refer to our list of substances.
The manufacturing, filling, and subsequent processing of active ingredients can generally result in the release of airborne particles and aerosols. This potential emission risk makes it necessary to continuously monitor compliance with the specified OEB (Occupational Exposure Bands) limits.
In addition, thorough system qualification is essential to ensure that technical equipment meets the necessary safety standards. Likewise, a comprehensive assessment of the workplace environment plays a central role in ensuring both the health and safety of employees and process safety.
To this end, IUTA offers analyses of filter samples collected during air measurements. These analyses are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the SMEPAC guideline (Standardized Methodology for the Assessment of Pharmaceutical Airborne Particle Emissions from Containment Systems). Upon request, sampling can be performed directly on-site by qualified IUTA personnel to ensure accurate and independent execution.
Our current analytical portfolio includes the testing of more than 30 different active ingredients. Additionally, we can analyze excipients such as lactose, naproxen, or acetaminophen, provided they are used for specific purposes. Further information about our services, including details regarding our accreditation under DIN EN ISO 17025, can be found in our current list of substances.
